Orange County Register

OCRegister.com/expressads, our self-serve advertising platform serving mom-and-pops and those with a “do-it-yourself” mindset, now accommodates three additional sections of The Orange County Register: Business, Sports and Saturday’s Home & Garden.

Advertisers were already using ExpressAds’ built-in design templates (or inserting their own fully-designed ads) for placement in the Register’s Local section or any of our 23 community newspapers.

Advertisers can plug in their own images and copy, select when and where to run the ads, and finalize the transaction with a credit card - exactly how they want and on their own time (for those of us who are on the clock beyond the 9 to 5).

The tool also supports Celebrations Ads (graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, pictures of you in purple and gold face paint at the Lakers’ victory parade - you name it!). A fun (and downright affordable) way to contribute to someone’s 15 minutes of fame.

The self-serve tool will soon support online ad positions on ocregister.com, to be announced later this year. I’ll keep you posted.
